10 Ways To Connect
Everyone “connects” in different ways. Depending on life stage, circumstances and personalities – our needs change. We get it. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. But, there is always a next step towards Christ and each other. What will the next step in your journey be? Use this quick-step guide to find your next connection point.
1 Learn About Anderson Hills
To learn more about our church, our mission and values, take our Growth Track "Come 101" class. Click here for information.
2 Read The Bible
Join a Bible Study on Sunday mornings or during the week or use our bible reading plan.
3 Don’t Miss Worship
Don’t let life’s pace and burdens break your compass. A weekly connection with your church family, group worship, and God’s Word is a crucial step in your spiritual development. We know there are times when illness, travel or special events may keep you away. If you do miss, you can watch full worship services and sermons.
4 Join a Life Group
Recognizing that relationships thrive in an environment of intimate connection, common experience, and genuine sharing, our small groups – or Life Groups, as we call them – provide a way for people to plug in to the larger community of Anderson Hills, and to know and be known by others. Our Life Groups are small in number, no more than 12 to 14 per group.
There are plenty of ways to get off the sidelines and into the game. You can browse the list of Service Opportunities or take a Spiritual Gifts Inventory and schedule a time for a one-on-one consultation to determine how you can utilize your gifts to glorify God in your neighborhood, the community, and our world.
6 Be Informed
Every week, we send out a church-wide email detailing upcoming events, service opportunities, and other church related news. Everyone knows spamming is a sin, so you’ll really only hear from us once a week or on special occasions. We promise. To join our mailing list, click here.
7 Attend an Event
Make time to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. Check out Sign Up Central and join us for fellowship opportunities beyond weekend worship.
We don’t just serve Jesus in what we say, but in what we do, how we live and how we give. Your generosity helps people grow closer to Christ and each other. Your gifts not only help us to provide excellent worship services and ministry programs, but contribute directly to several mission projects serving our community and world.
The best stories come from the people who were there – not from sterilized corporate content. When you see something you like, experience something that’s helpful, discover something that stirs your heart, share it with someone else – it could be a neighbor, co-worker, friend, or family member! The more we share what God is doing in our lives, the more we invite others to be a part of what God is doing!
And, while you’re sharing with others. Don’t forget to share with us click here. What’s on your mind? Tell us about your experience, share your story or let us know how we can pray for you. Your voice counts. Your perspective matters. Your contribution is constructive.
