The Mission of AHUMC is to glorify God and make disciples for Jesus Christ. This comes from Matthew 28 and  is referred to as the Great Commission. Jesus' very last words before he went back into heaven were, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”

There are several ways we can GO. One is by inviting our friends and neighbors to worship with us. This is one of our six habits. If you would like to learn more about how to do this, we offer classes on faith sharing on an ongoing basis.

After we have invited them to church, we can begin to walk them through the process that we have walked ourselves through  mentoring them. Inviting people to our small Group is one of the best ways to do this.

As parents, we can mentor our children through a process called "Faith Five." Contact Sharon Guard to sign up for this class.

Lastly, we can reach the world by sharing the Gospel and serving others both globally and locally. To find a place where you can do that, you can click on a group below and send an email to the leader of that group.
