What is the most important relationship in any family?  The marriage relationship!

Did you know that children are healthier and perform best when they know their parents are happy and their marriage is solid?  One of the core values of Family Ministry at AHUMC is that we believe that the church should uphold the priorty of helping to build Godly marriages.  We want to equip you, the families of AHUMC, to give your children a very important gift:  a strong, healthy marriage.

Just about everyone agrees that scheduling date nights is a must in a marriage relationship.  Couples need time to reconnect with each other in a meaningful way.  Family Ministry is going to start providing "Great Date Night" tools for couples to use.  The first one is called The Great Date Experiment. It includes instructions for married folks to follow on their date and is focused on how to nurture romance.  We encourage everyone, no matter how long you've been married, to give it a try.
