MOPS is a positive and caring network designed to nurture mothers with children from birth through kindergarten.

MOPS Meeting Details
MOPS meets the first Thursday of each month (September through May) from 9:45 to 11:30 at Anderson Hills United Methodist Church at 7515 Forest Road.
Each monthly meeting features a theme pertaining to motherhood, family, and personal and spiritual growth. Each meeting includes fellowship time, a featured guest speaker, small group discussion and a craft. Past meeting topics include home organization, health, building healthy marriages, nutrition, and playing purposefully with your children. The meetings are fun, informative and relaxing.
MOPS Goals
It is our hope that Anderson Hills MOPS provides a warm, caring and accepting environment; build and strengthen friendships among women; provide support and encouragement in our role as mothers; and enrich members socially and spiritually. Through all of this we hope to prepare each mom so she can face the challenges of parenting, marriage, home, community and personal needs with the help of friends and Christ.
Registration Fee
$5 per meeting plus $23.95 annual fee to MOPS International. As part of your MOPS International membership, you will receive:

Free Child Care!
During our MOPS meetings and MOPS CHAT sessions, your children will be cared for in a program called MOPPETS, where they experience love in a preschool-like setting.
Childcare reservations are required in advance. “No Shows” will be charged $4.00 per session.
MOPS International Theme:
MomSense: Bold - Loving - Sensible
The MOPS International theme for the 2011–2012 year is MomSense: Bold - Loving - Sensible. Mom Sense allows moms to embrace their mothering instincts and develop their own parenting style while navigating through the myriad of daily mom decisions.
Theme Verse: God doesn't want us to be shy with His gifts, but bold, loving and sensible. (2 Timothy 1:7)
MOPS CHAT
In addition to the monthly MOPS Meeting, members are invited to attend MOPS CHAT, a book club that meets the 3rd Thursday of the month in the Anderson Hills UMC Parlor from 9:45 - 11:00 am. MOPS Chat gives members more time to talk and bond with other moms while exploring great books relevant to family, spirituality and motherhood.
