	PRAYER GROUPS  PRAYER MINISTRY TEAM:  meets monthly to pray and coordinate prayer events and opportunities to strenghthen the prayer life of the church.  Contact Laura Burger in the Church Office.     THURSDAY MORNING PRAYER GROUP:  meets weekly September through May to pray over our weekly prayer letter.  Members gather at 10 a.m. in Room 121 every Thursday.  Contact:  Carol Roberts FRIDAY MORNING MEN'S BIBLE STUDY AND PRAYER TIME:  meets weekly year-round in the Library, 6:30-7:30 a.m.  Contact:  Bill Harvey PRAYER PARTNERS: one to two teams of prayer warriors will pray confidentially with and for parishoners at the end of all services every Sunday. Contact Laura Burger STEPHEN MINISTERS:  Available in the Chapel after each Sunday service for prayer or just to talk with (all confidential).  Contact:  Chuck Wood PRAYER RESOURCES  CHAPEL/PRAYER ROOM:  this room is designated for smaller events and for prayer, either corporate or individual.  Resources available include Bibles, hymnals, candles, organ, piano, prayer library (includes scripture on prayer and examples of prayer), weekly prayer letters, prayer request cards and a prayer request jar. PRAYER REQUESTS:  there are several ways to make a prayer request at AHUMC:    1.  Fill out a prayer request card during one of our Sunday morning services and place it in the offering plate.    2.  Call Laura Burger in the Church Office (231-4172) and make a request.    3.  Email Laura at wecare@andersonhillsumc.org    4.  Make a request to your small group/Bible study leader.  If you would like to have it prayed for by the staff and prayer groups,         please let your leader know. WEEKLY PRAYER LETTER:  This prayer list is published every Wednesday.  Members of the staff, several prayer groups and many individuals pray over this list each week.  Copies are kept in the Chapel/Prayer Room and on the Caring and Outreach board in the Gathering Place. PRAYER/CARE NOTES:  there are two racks (located in the Welcome Center Hallway) that contain PrayerNotes and CareNotes.  Both designed to give you resources on caring and praying for yourself and others.  There are a wide range of topics all.to choose from including illnesses, hospitalization, grief, and many more.  There are some for everyone from children to older adults.
