WOMEN’S MINISTRIES
Roberts Book Club Group Sunday 6:00PM Monthly Church
This group of women meet once a month to discuss a new book and to develop friendships. The books will be a mixture of both fiction and non-fiction. Each month a different book is discussed, contact Nancy for monthly book choice and monthly group location.

Monday Evening Group Monday 6:30PM Room 122
This Monday evening group will study Beth Moore's latest study, "James: Mercy Triumphs." James, Jesus own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible Scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resemble the Book of Proverbs that any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility and prayer. Precept Bible Study Tuesday 9:45AM Rooms 15/16
Come join this Precept Bible study as they look at "Lord, I Want to Know You" by Kay Arthur. Have you discovered the limitless power of God's name? Do you long to know God better? When you know God more fully by studying his names- Creator, Healer, Protector, Provider and many others- you'll gain power to stand strong. You'll find strength for time so trial, comfort for pain, and provision for your soul's deepest needs. Your daily time with God in His Word will introduce you to the limitless treasure available to you as His child. What a great study to share with others! Christian Mom's Group Wednesday 9:45AM Rooms 15/16
This group is for young Mothers primarily preschool and elementary age kids. This group meets on Wednesday mornings and is led by Shannon Horstmeyer. Fellowship, announcements and prayer time are from 9:45-10:00, Study begins are 10:00. Beginning in January, the group will study "The Power of the Praying Parent". After decades of raising her own children, Stormie Omartian looks back at the trials and joys of parenting and the power found in praying for her kids. In 30 easy-to-read chapters, she shares from personal experience how parents can pray for their children's safety, character development, school experiences, marriage and so much more.

Women's Bible Study Thursday 9:45AM Room 23/25
Join these group of women as they embark on a journey through the life of Christ with Beth Moore's study "Jesus the One and Only. Come and experience how God will open your eyes and ears with the powerful message about His son. This study of the life of Jesus is based on the book of Luke. Come along with Beth Moore on a life-changing adventure which will lead you through the hills of Galilee with the Teacher, across the lake with the Master, and finally on the road toward the cross with the Savior. Get to know Jesus intimately...as though you had walked with Him during His days of earthly ministry. This is a 10 week DVD and homework driven study. Church and non member women are welcome.

This group meets each Thursday morning to pray for prayer requests submitted, as well as concerns of the church and community.

A community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the United Methodist Church.
Along with a monthly general meeting with guest speakers, luncheons, dinners and missions fundraisers, six small groups (Circles) meet in the daytime or evening throughout the month for study and fellowship.
